NHS Physical Education
Welcome to the Nipomo High School PE Department! We are a united team of Physical Education teachers serving to provide a positive, enriching experience for students to gain skills and confidence in a variety of activity units as well as work hard to improve personal fitness and overall health. We believe all students can improve their well-being and personal fitness by committing to the opportunities provided to them in Physical Education. In addition, it has been consistently shown that students who achieve higher levels of fitness also self-regulate more successfully and perform better academically. As a team of educators, we are passionate about inspiring students to achieve their full potential as competent movers and individuals who understand how to take charge of their own personal fitness. Resiliency, cooperation, leadership, self-responsibility, sportsmanship, achievement of goals, and social skills are all outcomes for students who apply themselves in our courses.
